Big Trouble In Little China
When his friend's fiancee is kidnapped, truck driver Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) embarks upon an unlikely adventure beneath the streets of San Francisco's Chinatown. It seems that the fiancee, green-eyed Gracie Law (Kim Cattrall), has been taken by 2,000-year-old wizard Lo Pan (James Hong), who needs to marry a woman with green eyes if he is to regain his physical form. With guns at the ready, Jack storms into the Chinatown underworld ready to rescue Gracie from Lo Pan's clutches, but with the supernatutal and martial arts forces that are ranged against him, it's a task that is going to be anything but easy.
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Sci-fi comedy starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. In San Dimas, California, Bill S. Preston Esq and Ted Theodore Logan (Winter and Reeves) are high school no-hopers who dream of forming a rock band, but unless Ted can pass a history exam, he will be shipped off to military school. When a figure from the future arrives with a time-travelling telephone booth, Bill and Ted use it to leap in and out of history, meeting such people as Napoleon (Tony Camilleri), Socrates (Tony Steedman) and Billy the Kid (Dan Shor) on the way.
Blade Runner
Extended version of Ridley Scott's cult sci-fi classic. In LA in 2019, ex-cop Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is hired to track down and kill a group of androids, known as replicants, who have escaped from a satellite colony and travelled to Earth illegally. As two of the AWOL replicants (Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah) seek refuge in a geneticist's house, Deckard takes his investigation to their makers, the Tyrell Corporation, where he falls in love with Rachael (Sean Young), herself an android, but with a memory chip that convinces her she is human.
Conan The Destroyer
In this follow-up to 'Conan the Barbarian', Conan (Arnold Schwarzenegger) joins the virgin princess Jehnna (Olivia d'Abo) on a search to find a magical crystal. Accompanied by Zula (Grace Jones) and Akiro (Mako), the expedition begins its daring adventure, unaware that the greatest danger lies with its own sponsor, the treacherous Queen Tamaris (Sarah Douglas).
Dirty Dancing
Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey star in this classic 1980s romantic comedy drama directed by Emile Ardolino. Frances 'Baby' Houseman (Grey) is a teenage girl on holiday with her family at a resort in the Catskill Mountains. Stumbling upon an off-limits employees-only party, she witnesses the staff getting down and dirty to the R&B hits of the day. The hotel's dance instructor Johnny (Swayze) catches her eye in particular, and, despite their differences in class, age and experience, the couple begin to fall in love. The film won the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for '(I've Had) the Time of My Life'.
Dune
David Lynch writes and directs this adaptation of Frank Herbert's epic sci-fi novel. Set in the distant future on the barren desert planet Arrakis, aka Dune, where a precious life-enhancing spice is guarded by monster sandworms, young nobleman Paul Atreides (Kyle MacLachlan) leads his family and the native Freman people against the territorial designs of his family's arch-enemies, the Harkonnens. However, once on Dune, Paul discovers he is earmarked for an even greater destiny. The cast also includes Francesca Annis, Max von Sydow, Linda Hunt and Sting.

Steven Spielberg directs this heart-warming family tale of friendship between a boy and his pet alien. Young Elliott (Henry Thomas) has not had a happy home life since his parents split up. Living with his mother, Mary (Dee Wallace), he is constantly fighting with his older brother, Michael (Robert MacNaughton), and little sister, Gertie (Drew Barrymore). When Elliott finds an alien in his backyard one night, he takes the creature in, christening him 'ET' and aiding him in his efforts to contact his mother ship. ET has various amazing powers, including the ability to heal and make objects levitate, but his growing bond with Elliott is threatened by the fact that government officials are already trying to track him down.

It is still Halloween night 1978 and Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is in hospital recovering from Michael Myers' near-fatal attack upon her. Purple Rain

The Princess Bride

Jessica Rabbit, a sexy, almost human toon, is up to all sorts of mischief and Hoskins is out to find out exactly what she's doing, involving himself in murder and intrigue.
